Summer Program Information

Since 2000 the Adaptive Sports Foundation has been offering quality summer recreational adaptive sports. We offer water skiing, canoeing, and kayaking. Pontoon rides are also available for groups and families.
Our activities take place on Brome Lake in Knowlton, Quebec.
Summer 2013
Our summer season starts June 24 and will end August 24. The schedule is all up to you! In your registration, please indicate the days you would like to particiapte in our summer recreational adaptive sports. We will confirm your chosen dates when the registration is sent.
Please note that all cancelations must be done 48hrs before the chosen participation date.
| Who can Participate?: |
Our summer adaptive sports are designed for all individuals with physical disabilities age 8 and older.

| Instructors: |
Our instructors are qualified to teach sit-skiing, stand-up skiing, adaptive canoeing, and kayaking. Come learn how to ski !

Location: |
Our location will be confirmed soon. Follow us on Facebook for news updates. Our summer activities take place on Brome Lake in Knowlton Quebec. The town of Brome Lake has adaptive ramps and washrooms. It is a great and picturesque place for students and families to enjoy the days of summer!

| Cost: |
Water skiing: $25 per 15 minutes, tow or pull. Price includes water ski boat, instructors and equipment. Day package $100: Join us for a day of outdoor activities which include water skiing, kayaking, and canoeing. Cost includes instructors, water ski boat and all equipment, including the ski vest. Participants are welcome to bring their own ski vests or wetsuits (not included) if they wish. Pontoon rides: $20 per person/ 1 to 2hrs. Note that a minimum of 8 people is required.

Day Hours are from 10am to 12pm & 1pm to 3pm

| Payment: |
Payment is due on day of activity. Cheques or cash is accepted and will be receipted. Please make your cheques payable to: Adaptive Sports Foundation.

| Registration: |
If you are interested in participating please fill in a registration form online, indicating the day and the time of day (AM/PM) you are interested in. Sessions must be booked at least 3 days in advance.
We will confirm with you after receiving your registration.

Partnerships:
We are proud of our partnerships with Jean Perreault’s Ski School, Water ski Wakeboard Canada and the SkiAbility Program. These partnerships open the door to adaptive sports for people with physical disabilities. Sports make people more active, improves their self confidence and quality of life to enjoy with family and friends.
